Wary of the Blue Dot? Don't be.
Here's how this scary urban legend has worked for the past few years:
Somebody will plant the scary story and by the time you hear it, it goes something like this (btw, its almost always spread by Texas Tech girls).
Ya know how crime has been increasing? Ya. (even when crime is not increasing, many people always think it is increasing because the media spends a lot of its time scaring us).
Well, the ____________ (fill in the boogey man of the semester, i.e. Mexican Mafia, Satanic Cult, Jamaican Gangs, etc) is going around putting blue dots on the back fences of the houses they intend to _____________ (fill in with the crime of the semester, i.e. burglarize, rob, rape and pillage, etc.) You're kidding! No, it's true.
The patsy then goes to take a look at her back fence, sees a blue dot and shrieks "OH MY GOD!!!!"
